Even after Xray has agreed to meet him Mogar hesitates, pacing back and forth across the tree house. The past few days have been spent in deep thought, with assistance from the exasperated yet accepting Kazooie. She still thinks it’s a completely harebrained idea - Mogar has to agree. But it’s not his idea in the end, and so he resigns himself to simply accepting it for what it is. For all his issues with the Liar, his loyalties to Xray run deep, and he won’t risk harming the fragile connection they’ve managed to built.
With that in mind he clambers out the window of his nest, stalking his way into the city. By now he’s become a rather familiar site to the city folk, given how consistently he’s been patrolling. So he manages to make it to the bench with only a few spare glances, perching on the back of it as he waits.
